So we received no flyers on our doors, no emails, no knock at our doors and no letters mailed to our homes to ask us for our opinions on this or to inform us when the vote on this was? This was a very lazy and irresponsible decision by the board. We need new board members. No basketball courts.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there are 65 signatures on this petition. I fully hope that each and every one of you will either be in attendence at the annual meeting on May 18, 2017 **OR** you will sign your proxy and deliver it to someone who WILL be at the meeting. Otherwise, nothing will change. All 3 seats on the board are up for election. Also, if you want up to the minute information from fellow residents, we have created a group on Facebook, which hopefully will become ONE communication tools for the future. https://www.facebook.com/groups/DurhamPark/

If you're thinking about running for a board position to replace the current ones, now would be a perfect time. The job is pretty much yours already. I don't want that psychopath/ Dictator running my neighborhood anymore.

No, to Public Basketball/Volley Ball/Tennis Courts inside Durham Park. This may increase traffic/parked cars along BH Ridge & may encourage more non-residents coming to & frequenting the area. No, to having a walking trail around the retention pond, it's not safe; instead, cut the tall grasses/trees and clean the pond and its surroundings. Maybe, better yet, to add a walking trail in the lush green park, along the hedge of the shrubs.

We agree that crime is happening already at the park, and this could put innocent children in danger! We agree that there needs to be a different person managing the HOA as favoritism is being shown to some activities clearly against the policies we signed for this neighborhood. As with many, maybe all, there are politics involved. So short of changing the world entirely, and all the people in it, I am going to say NO TO BB COURTS and it doesn't matter whom is President. The games will still be played. We went to quite a few meetings and witnessed that what the people want is not happening. I think this would have to be a different petition, such as taking those in authority (management co included) to court for breach of contract. They certainly take people to court for every little thing. The overseers, however, seem to be exempt from the rules. Very sad, because this could be a wonderful neighborhood. my little part is! Two great families have already moved to other neighborhoods due to these infarctions.

1. Even with extra security, it still won't help with everything else that will come. More trash, more cars parked everywhere, more loud noises for all the neighbors.
2. there's also a volleyball court that is being built literally next to a house. Next to a house! Drive by if you dont believe me. I feel so sorry for those poor neighbors. my heart goes out to them. This was a heartless thing to do.
3. They purposely didn't tell anyone living close to the park this was being voted on. They knew everyone would oppose it.
We want a new president. this one's a heartless sleazebag.

There's a huge school that is being built next to our neighborhood. Guess where they're all gonna come play after school? We will no longer have a nice, quiet family park for our children. I vote for safety too. No basketball courts.

Someone said: "No basketball courts. A walking trail is better." Someone else said: "build the basketball courts next to the board member's houses..." The walking trail will be behind my house if built around the retention pond and I do not want a walking trail behind my house for the same reasons listed against the basketball court. I think, in the best interest of everyone impacted by a proposed project, that a rule should be established that a notice about any proposal goes out to all homeowners before a decision is made to provide an opportunity to vote or it least voice an opinion in the decision before any action is taken.

Can we build the basketball courts next to the board member's houses that voted for this. They can listen to basketballs dribble ALL DAY and see how they like it. A very inconsiderate and careless decision. If anyone has info on how to vote next month please let me know.

Can we build a walking trail with that money instead? I believe it's more family friendly and more quiet for our neighborhood. Nothing is built yet, we can still change plans from this terrible decision. Or we can vote for new board members that will change this and make things right for us.
