Many students in QVMS have used NationStates to enrich their understanding or politics, government, history, and the world around us. Recently McAffe Web Gateway blocked NationStates, an educational site with a fun twist. In NationStates you make your own country and decide for it as leader. You make a flag and can name the Capital City. You can also join a region and learn about how continents work together. I've learned many things from NationStates and have seen arguments from the other side of my political belief. I've also learned what Federal Republics are. Many of the students at QVMS loved the educational site and outraged by the block. I Henry Veeck hereby petition to unblock NationStates and continue to enjoy our opportunities to enrich our understanding of government,politics,and history for the better of our school.

I have been sending emails to the administration to see if anyone is willing to discuss why the site was restricted. It is truly humbling to realize how many of you value this as much as I do. I am just a student trying to get a fair answer but your backing is what gives this whole effort any weight at all.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately. This movement belongs entirely to the students who spoke up and showed why this site matters to our learning.

It helps with managing a country what if a future leader comes on here and learns what to do and what not to do
very interesting game which shows how both economies and governments affect each other
I'm in school rn and I can say that nation states is educational so it should be unbannedi learned what a queendom is because of it
I do agree with this. I also have NationStates blocked and I wish for it to be unblocked since there is no reason for it to be blocked.
Can make leader skills better. Helps understand Political issues and economic problems.

I can confirm, this exposes you to other ideas, and allows you to form your own government. Great website.
