I welcome private donations to support education initiatives, but naming a school? That's way out of line. A school brand should not be tarnished by corporate interest!

There is a lot of pride associated with the name of your optometry school. I was so proud to have graduated from Southern California College of Optometry, I was so disappointed when they changed the name to MBKU School of Optometry. The amount of dollars the current administration of the school may think they will gain by having this sponsorship may be loss by the loss of loyalty by previous NSU graduates.

Give them a plaque for the donation but no need to change the college name... 5 mil is peanuts ... disappointed...
