This rezoning will make traffic impossible, impact the environment with erosion, overcrowd schools, and de-value our homes.

We don't need additional traffic or smaller homes/lot sizes in the area.

Please stop totally filling our world with zoning that has houses sitting on top of houses.

Glad to find this petition! It would be terrible for the congestion of the area to have an additional subdivision. Please keep the open space! We have no shortage of houses for sale. There is plenty of inventory!

I am against this change - it will ruin the overall value of the surrounding homes and increase traffic congestion.

As one of the few born and raised in Cobb County for the past 55 years and still living here, I’m against all rezoning in Cobb. Enough is enough. Lord Jesus Christ, have Mercy on ME. What’s sad it that the beautiful pastures, horse farms, creeks, lovely fauna, animals and woodlands ARE the big draw to this area and then are promptly destroyed by the next greedy developer. Whoever can afford 600k+ for a home can buy LAND, not just another tiny lot for another bloated house! Why can’t this land be conserved and dedicated into a Land Trust? I know that the current property owners can only see $$$, a HUGE Temptation., but perhaps the tax benefits have been overlooked????? However, if we, the residents of West Cobb TRULY have a say, then let’s search for a different solution.

This would highly impact the street and the intersection at Acworth Due West, which is already 10 cars deep turning right in the morning commute hours.

We really need to preserve this wonderful area. There are way too many "new" neighborhoods being built that ruin the landscape. I actually enjoy driving past dense forests and pastures. Not crowded houses.

Support the land use map and existing zoning! Stop passing rezoning for developers and preserve West Cobb! You are ruining West Cobb with these small lots that DO NOT FIT INTO West Cobb. Do not approve this!!

If you've ever tried to get onto Due West from BH Rd Sw where they are proposing to rezone in the morning or evening you'd know that traffic is terrible and the only reason you can get out is if the drivers traveling on Due West are courteous and yield to you. Then turning left onto Kennesaw Due west can be nearly impossible since there is no turn signal. I've sat through two lights waiting to turn. The county needs to take care of traffic flow before they start considering adding even more homes. R-30 is the appropriate zoning not R20/OSC.

We were drawn to West Cobb nearly 15 years ago because it had the feel of living in the country - rolling pastures, plenty of wildlife, quiet nights with the sounds of only a few vehicles and many night creatures. It has been sad to see wooded areas being clear-cut to put up small houses so close together the buyers can almost touch their neighbor's house by reaching out the window. We need to work hard to preserve what has been beautiful and appealing about our area. NO MORE RE-ZONING PLEASE!!!

I live less than 1/4 mile from the proposed rezoning, The roads and utilities cannot handle this influx of homes and families. Please do not approve changing the current zoning to build new homes there. Thank you,

The same refining was attempted at the corner of Due West Rd and Midway Rd to no avail. Roads are already overcrowded not to mention the distracted elementary school does not have the space to accommodate so many homes. Please take these important items into consideration.
