Our infrastructure cannot support the existing residential areas not to mention the massive increase that is already under construction. Do not add to more hazardous traffic.

The traffic is already so backed up. It would be very unpleasant to have another neighborhood to clog up traffic more. Also, this area was attractive because of all the green space and it is disappearing rapidly.

No to building this community. If you must build, which I prefer you not build at all, then build large estate homes that have land and distance between neighbors and distance between the homes and the road. Keep the class of West Cobb!

Please keep the original zoning R30. We have enough cars on the road at peak. The schools won't be able to handle the extra family's.

No rezoning! We don't need anymore traffic here, as there is too much already.

This property should developed, if at all, as large estate lots with arguably the best view of Lost Mtn. There is far too much traffic on these small country roads already. Squeezing in 100 more homes on that small country road and further stresssing our schools makes no sense for the progress and continuing growth of West Cobb.

The upside of West Cobb are sprawling lots that include horse farms, where there are several acres of land. I understand ggrowth, but I think many of us built in West Cobb because property with several acres still exist. To me, on the weekends especially, I feel like we'e in an area that is more relaxed and less crazy. If I wanted crazy insanity, I would have bought a house in East Cobb.

NO more rezoning and neighborhoods. The road infrastructure and schools can not handle this! Keep our green spaces. This area is surrounded by 3 schools and provides a tranquil setting. Utilize the space for the community not the pockets of the greedy.

No to increased population, increased traffic; no to destruction of pastoral quality of area. Who in their right mind would pay $600K for a home on 15000 sq ft !!!
Is there really only one way in and the same way out for over 1000 cart trips per day ???
Vote NO

We, the undersigned, ask the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to DENY Rezoning Application Z-101, which seeks to rezone 87.639 acres on Burnt Hickory Rd. from R-30 to R-20/OSC.
Z-101 also proposes a reduction in lot sizes from 30,000 Sq. Ft to 15,000 Sq. Ft.The proposed rezoning is not consistent with R-30 zoning surrounding the subject property and the entire area of Burnt Hickory Rd.
The proposed density and lot size will destroy the look and feel of the area of Burnt Hickory Rd. -- characterized by a sprawling horse farm, expansive pastures, and many large-parcel estate homes.
Increased density also will have a negative impact on property values and quality of life of in surrounding neighborhoods by increasing traffic congestion and overcrowding public schools.

This change to smaller lots would be a huge mistake!
