Can’t imagine how this battery storage facility located within 1 mile of a massive gas plant could be a good idea. Any problem with the battery facility would be catastrophic for the entire island.
Essentially, we would have no island left. This plant would effect the entire island not just Holtsville.

This is the worst decision possible. There are multiple schools within walking distance of this proposed location a 16 screen movie theater across the street and multiple fast food locations across the street and a sizable hotel as well. Th8s can not happen. I will fight all the way.

These facilities are not safe as proven in prior incidents and the fire departments are not equipped for a disaster of large scale from a facility such as the one being proposed.

This facility does not belong in any residential area or near schools. It is proposed to sit within less than a one mile radius of (9) NINE school buildings as well as homes and businesses.
It compromises and threatens the residents and ecosystem of the towns of Islip and Brookhaven.
