All this risk to be able to charge 18,000 homes for 4 hours is inexcusable. The site is next to the Northville Industries fuel storage facility and blocks from the LIE. Whose taking the liability for such a travesty??????

I am opposed to a Battery Energy Storage facility in our residential area. This does not belong near schools and homes. The dangers to children, families and seniors greatly outweigh any such business venture.

We do not want this lithium plant in our backyard. Stop the facility from being located by my home!

Does not belong in this area a fire & safety hazzard. Too close to residences &schools. Also an environmental hazzard.

Our quality of life is already compromised by Posillico Asphalt Company and now you want to create an even more dangerous situation? Doesn't anyone care about the residents?

Brookhaven Town needs to stop this project as the batteries are unsafe.

The location chosen for this installation is completely inappropriate. The safety of residents living around it, especially children, can not be guaranteed. Fire departments are ill prepared due to lack of information. More investigation is required prior to installation anywhere!

This is the worst idea to be near schools and neighborhoods. This has to be defeated for the safety of everyone and our hero’s that belong to our fire departments.

This lithium battery storage location diasterious plan should not be within 70 miles of any human population! Suggest Plum Island!

Serious Health and Safety issues besides the fact that our local fire Departments most likely aren't trained to respond adequatly to a free burning battery bank . NYC which is the leading Fire Dept in the world has huge problems with Lithium ion batteries which can't be extinguished with water , a Haz Mat response is needed in every incident which our local FD is not equipped for.. Our Local Department's do an excellent job protecting us and will need to be trained and equipted to respond to a runaway battery fire , fund them first and then consider a Battery farm.
