Another housing development on this corner is an absolutely terrible idea.

HWY 109 can't handle more traffic.

Stop building in a floodplain or raising things out of floodplains! Completely irresponsible

Traffic is already bad let’s not make it worse

Development without accompanying improvements to infrastructure is not wise planning

I am opposed to this development going in and would love to see it defeated.

There is a problem with flooding on highway W near the area where this is planned. A substantial bridge over highway W that does not flood is desperately needed. HIghway W floods in several areas. This problem will restrict access to "Rockwood Meadows" and reroute traffic to the intersection of FF/W and 109 further congesting the area on the FF side. Speed limits on W, FF and 109 are 55 mph. These are two lane roads. The ingress/egress from "Rockwood Meadows" is on 109 and on W, meaning cars will be stopped waiting for access to the development. This poses a real threat to other vehicles-especially in winter weather. School buses will cause a real obstacle. This is a "multi-family" development of 56 duplexes. That would be a minimum of 112 cars if all residents only own one car. That many additional vehicles will seriously stress this already congested intersection where Windswept Farms and Mirasol developments are already located. The flood prone congested infrastructure can not handle it. FF and W are busy feeder roads. If there is a bottleneck, emergency vehicles will have difficulty reaching their destinations. This proposal packs a lot of population into a very small area near a flood zone. BAD IDEA!

I’m against the re-zoning. Traffic is already a nightmare at the intersection. I would likely consider moving if this were to pass

I'm not apposed to our communities growth. However, the infrastructure structure has to grow with it and for all of the reasons listed, until that occurs I'm in opposition to this added housing.

The roadways servicing this area are already too crowded. Traffic is backed up into Eureka daily coming across the bridge. The schools are also overcrowded and can't handle the additional students. This is a terrible idea.

This is a very bad idea for the schools, flooding, and traffic.

109 cannot support more traffic, our schools are already at capacity, there is only one way to 44 and this would create a nightmare. Not to mention building in a flood plain.

My home is in the Rockwood School District resides along the stretch of road where this development is being proposed. The traffic at 109/ W & FF has already become increasingly difficult. Geggie Elementary School is already at capacity. This just seems like a horrible idea with the already growing population of homes that have been built in recent years.

Traffic is already a nightmare at 109 and W. 109 should have had at least another lane southbound from eureka to W when Windswept farms was built.

Building in a flood plane??? Ludicrous.

No rezoning should be allowed without proper ingress and egress to Highway 44 Traffic is abysmal now.

Our residents already have limited access to 44 and the traffic is awful. Our taxes have increased with no improvements to the community. Our officials say more homes, more residents the better. It’s only better for their pockets. This is a terrible idea.

We need more commercial (shops, restaurants, bars, etc) not residential.
