This is a terrible idea. The local infrastructure cannot handle additional homes.

Current Eureka resident very much against this. I live in an older part of town and can still see how this place has changed over the last five years — and not for the better. This place is starting to turn into the very thing people here have wanted to avoid. Traffic is terrible. We’re starting to lose what made us a unique part of the STL area. Let’s not make it even worse.

There are so many issues to address yet the city’s only concern is build more homes, bring in more people, tax more but not fix anything for our residents. So sad that we have such greedy leaders deciding for the betterment of the Eureka people it’s more like the betterment of their pockets.

Unless JeffCo is going to get 4 lane roads this petition should be denied.
FF and W and 109 flood. Roads can not handle additional traffic. Im moving after 35 years in High Trails because JeffCo has ignored Districy 1 residents concerns for over a decade. .

I am a local first responder and Eureka resident pre Windswept Farms. The amount of traffic along 109 is at its max capacity as is. This is a terrible location for adding more housing.

This is a reckless plan! 109 is already congested enough with the homes already built there! Traffic is insane already!

Let’s not squeeze more in a small area. Worse on traffic that is already a nightmare

The town’s infrastructure is crumbling and can not handle an additional subdivision. With the Allenton bridge closure, traffic is a nightmare. residence are forced to take the road between 2 railroad tracks to get onto 44W. Geggie can not handle added enrollment. Also, we continue to grow but can’t keep business and jobs in this small town.

This will overwhelm the roads, schools and fire/police/EMS. Every promise made to get the Polo Field high density build through was broken. We have been burned and I am highly against this proposal!

This is such a bad idea. Why is this even being considered?
