ARE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AGAIN. I WISH I CAN SIT HERE ALL DAY AND TELL YOU MY FRUSTRATION. NOT HAVING PAPER TOPS IT ALL OFF. COME ON!

I think it’s time to get together and sue NCARB. This is unacceptable.

Scratch paper is essential!

The physical pencil and paper are the most basic and most fundamental tools. It is essential. It is INDISPENSABLE. To assume that it can just be replaced by a "digital whiteboard" is careless, inconsiderate and thoughtless.

Removing scratch paper does not make sense at all - especially for this profession. This will further hinder test takers. Focus your energy on your software issues and not the scratch paper.

I couldn’t imagine doing my exam without scratch paper! Do you think in the real world we don’t need to think things through and try a sketch???

Use of scratch paper with all the close oversight of the Prometric testing environment should be allowed. The software is glitchy enough as is.

Getting rid of scratch paper for the exams isn’t a good idea.

So how is this going to affect our time and the slwo computers and swapping between windows? Your exam systems get worse and worse. Maybe we should file a class-action law suit?

It is worse enough that the exam is so challenging and now you want to take away paper that we need to do our calculations for these challenging questions. You will monopolize our time that is valuable on the exam with this "virtual whiteboard". This is not a good idea please reconsider.

Candidates NEED the physical scratch paper to come up with solutions. It is the one thing that is bug/glitch proof on the ARE exam. Please don't create yet another interface that candidates must learn in an already stressful situation.

Physical scratch paper is essential.

Scratch paper is a simple necessity to taking any exam. The ability to physically write out a problem or sketch out and idea OR simply jot down quick notes is so valuable to test takers.

Took all divisions last year. I can't see any benefit in swapping physical for 'digital' scratch paper.

Without scratch paper we may need to be provided with a functional digital tablet for process thinking - problem solving should not be limited to virtual mediums Decreasing the multitude of problem solving mediums (both virtual and real tools) during the architectural registration examination testing experience is a very big let down for the liscencing process experience as any foundation for emerging architects - it becomes a discouraging testing experience

NCARB, it’s getting ridiculously obvious how far you are going to try keep these young people from getting Licensed! It’s plain criminal what you all are doing & I am one that’s ashamed that I am associated with the current NCARB!!!
