While I use that station once in a while when I go to Montefiore, I favor an elevator for all people and hopefully for more stations.

I used to live there for years so I can attest to the failure of RTA in providing adequate accommodations to ensure every Nrw Yorker can access essential services that are paid for by the same people experiencing this unnecessary hardship.

I go to the doctors at Montefiore Hospital and am medically in need of it. I have asked for this since Andrew Sandler was there. It is interesting that only now it has become of interest to others!

I cannot climb stairs. I am forced to use the #1 train from 231st Street, because there's an elevator there. This cuts me off from the east side of Manhattan! Please put an elevator at Mosholu Pkwy!

This has been a "no brainer" which should have been done when the station was rehabilitated. I had contacted MTA 2 years ago and the community board of Norwood to get assistance in installing an elevator at Mosholu Parkway's #4 train station and was told by the MTA they had no plans in installing an elevator there in spite of having 2 major hospitals and other medical institutions in the area utilized by disabled residents, patients, & riders. I even sent them a picture of a woman helping her disabled sister go up the stairs carrying a wheelchair to the mezzanine and then go back down to help her sister go up the stairs without extra assistance creating a physically dangerous situation for both. I also have an unseen disability which at times requires for me to use a cane or walker. We need an elevator installed at Mosholu Pkway ASAP. Disabled riders, residents, workers, & patients need access to public transportation by the #4 train NOW.

In such close proximity to 2 hospitals it should be obvious that the need for elevators are paramount for the disabled.

The station is near two major hospitals, yet people who can't negotiate steps can't use the train to get to them.

The Mosholu station needs an elevator because there are many seniors and disabled people in the area.
I am supporting my cousin Eric.
