This change would give students more time to properly cross the street safely. Students would be less compelled to cross at the "no walk" time because the time allowed for walking would increase.This change would help the safety of students and faculty members around the campus of Indiana University. This petition is directed to a member of the Bloomington Traffic Commision Joe VanDeventer.

10 seconds is way too fast. I have to jog just to make it across before the light starts blinking. Dangerous for everyone.
