Trees, especially older native trees, are a precious element of our environment and should only be removed after careful consideration and with the authority of the public.

Removing the trees before permission is granted is not only premature, but it may be a criminal.

This is a premature action And will cause an environmental impact on the animals that live in these trees and an unnecessary action at this time

Mature trees provide a vital contribution to our ecology and well being. To remove without the proper permits are obtained is a premature and unconscionable action.

It is astonishing that Maret School would be so reckless and destroy so many trees. The School Board should act environmentally responsible and protect all trees on the leased land.

Waiting for the proper approvals is the neighborly thing to do.

I don’t understand why people would go forward killing trees without a final decision of a court. Don’t we all care for the health of our planet? That is the issue here.

I am against development and progress in our neighborhood. There’s no reason to remove dying trees that are naturally decomposing after years of disrepair. Plus, don’t like seeing kids playing in my neighborhood.

Irreversible work - the destruction of these trees - should not begin until and unless all required permits and approvals have been obtained by Market.

Stop destroying our neighborhood
