There are men that merely go through life and impact only those in their immediate family, and then there there was a man named Matt Brown. A man who impacted every person he came in contact with. A man who taught teenagers the value of time, dedication, will power, Faith and strength! People like Matt don't come around often, which is why his legacy is so important! If he were here he would tell you...don't give up, never give up! Keep the faith and keep going! What better way to remind athletes that each day is a gift, then to give the man who gave so much the "gift" of honoring him each and every time you walk onto the field! I hope you all never forget the first time and the last that you were blessed with his presence...I know I never will!

Matt good friend of mine and I think naming the field after him is a fitting way to remember him. He did a lot for the sport of soccer in the community and is probably the best coach philo boys program has ever had.

No ther name would be appropriate for this field. What Coach did for this program goes beyond measure. He was not only a coach on the field, but he was also a great mentor for many fine young men. This honor should've already been done without needing a petition.
