Legalize Ownership of Butterfly Knives in All US States

Balisongs❤️ Please legalise them in all states!

People say that balisongs are a weapon and a weapon only, but they also say that they are made for crimes and to hurt people. As many say and agree with, it's the person who's handling it that makes it a weapon. That's like considering a shovel a weapon because someone used it as one, but what's it really for?

I feel butterfly knifes are misunderstood, they are seen dangorus by most people uneducated on them, they are just as dangerous as a regular knife if you know how to use them.

Balisongs are predominately recreational items and tools. Using one as a weapon in any regard is foolish and impractical compared to other types of knives.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them being legal. Take the prohibition of alcohol for example.

Knives in general are not weapons. They are tools that are used to cut things. If knives should have laws and regulations on length and what not, so should scissors, hedge trimmers, screwdrivers, and just about anything else in your garauge. Yes knives may be used as weapons but so can anything else in a class room. (Scissors, tape dispensers, pencils, chairs, ect)

I think it should be legal, because people carry guns with them all the time and they aren't illegal
