Request to LTA for a signalized crossing along 1 Unity Street

We need this crossing before something terrible happens to a child on the way to or from school. Please spend time there to see for yourselves

This is an extremely dangerous crossing with no safe place to cross. Traffic coming from multiple directions and no clear rights of way. It is extremely difficult to cross with children. It is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident here.

I live in UE Square and there are very few safe options for pedestrians who need to cross the street. Extremely dangerous to cross at this intersection especially for adults and children. Almost run over multiple times by drivers who are going way too fast and have no respect for pedestrians.

An important petition and critical for the safety of children in the area

My Daughter nearly was run over while we tried to cross. Too many blind spots for Drivers, he was turning right into River Valley Rd UE square from unity and was blinded by the parked cars, he didn’t see my small Daughter and just missed her. He didn’t even know and kept driving. Please make a safe crossing for our children

Very difficult to navigate this crossing, with a blind spot and traffic coming from 4 different directions. With schools on both sides of the road this makes it dangerous and it needs a safer solution.
