Laguna Niguel needs a cultural center far more than more housing!

I absolutely agree with the goal - but a quick search failed to turn up any reputable non-profit of this name, with the resources to reasonably pull this off. I'd love to see the financials on the proposal.
Might that be the reason the proposal was not considered more widely?

per 2010 U.S. Census: Population Density for Laguna Niguel 4,231 people per square mile. Dana Point 1,131 per sq. mile. Laguna Beach 2313 per sq.mi.; San Juan Capistrano 2419 per sq. mi.; San Clemente 3262 per sq. mi; and Irvine 3195 per sq. mi. Only Mission Viejo has greater population density at 5148. An additional 200 apartment units is not what our city needs.

Before I decide - I want to know the facts of the Cultural Center and the Environmental Impact on this community. Has an EIR report been done and if so, is that available at City Hall???? I absolutely do not want any RESIDENTIAL property such as CONDOS or Apartments. The communities that will be directly "Affected" by this development should HAVE BEEN notified so that they can discuss the impact to their communities.

I'm opposed to any new residential development in the city of Laguna Niguel without having to do a feasibility study for traffic, pollution and etc.
