More housing; apartments, really? This is a-priori a bad idea. Other tenant properties will have more competition, and Laguna Niguel will get nothing noteworthy.

My compliments to our city council for resisting the county's proposal. A cultural center, museum, performing arts, sculpture garden, etc would be a far more beneficial addition to our community than more housing. More so when you consider the housing structure built near Cabot & Crown Valley Pkwy, as well as the recent revitalization of the 'luxury apartment homes' off Niguel and CVP (above Taco Bell). Have we thought about the schools? Our classrooms are already very large - has the impact of so much new housing to CUSD been considered?
