Vote NO to rezoning land next to Beeks Elementary

This neighborhood does not need the proposed change. Keep it the way it is.

We need intergenerational and affordable housing for Blacksburg citizens. We do not need it to be high buildings and high density apartment complexes. Blacksburg is getting boxed in with them.

As one who once petitioned big business behind MBE as a student, I will always advocate for safety of the students of MBE.

The development is not a fit for the neighborhood. It doesn't make good sense.

Please do NOT approve rezoning of this parcel - it will completely change the traffic flow and feel of this little neighborhood, and especially our school!!

As a current Blacksbrg resident, and also a recent resident of Airport Acres, and a parent of a former Beeks student, I think that this kind of development is in the wrong place, and the zoning should stay R4.

This rezoning does not fit with the character of airport acres or blacksburg and destroys the existing green space.

Please do not rezone this property. It would negatively and drastically change our neighbourhood countless ways.

Keeping this parcel of land R4 will go a long way toward keeping Blacksburg the neighborhood we've all come to love!

There is no apparent benefit and much potential damage to the neighborhood to make such a zoning change, and the precedent set would open the door to similar requests in many other Blacksburg neighborhoods.

This proposed private neighborhood is completely out of character with the surrounding communities. It's basically a gated community without a gate. It would not surprise me if these become "football condos". I strongly urge the planning commission and town council to vote NO to this rezoning request.

I live adjacent to the proposed development, keep it R4!
