It’s been very tough to wait more than 30 months for grant.

Thousands of lives are left in suspense as the visa processing ime of Iranian nationals is prolonged beyond all expectations and Skill Worker applicants would really appreciate a prompt action in that regard

For 189 subclass, While people from other nationalities, who have lodged for their visa prior to 15 dec 2024, are receiving their Visas, Iraninans who have lodged in November 2024 and first half of December, have not seen a contact from a case officer!

I have been waiting for my 491 visa for 25 months. And yet I have still not received any feedback, nor has my visa been granted. This prolonged uncertainty has significantly affected all aspects of our lives, making it impossible for us to plan ahead. I kindly request that the visa applications of Iranian applicants be reviewed as soon as possible. It is highly unfair that applicants from Iran are subjected to such an extended waiting period. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Dear Global Feedback Unit, I lodged my Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa in September 2021 and have waited over two years without progress. My spouse and I are skilled professionals with ACT nomination, ready to contribute to Australia. The long delay and lack of updates have caused major uncertainty and stress. We kindly request that our application be reviewed and progressed if possible.

According to the announced processing time, my 189 case was supposed to be decided within three months, but now I have been indecisive for 10 months. If I had known that I was going to experience something like this, I might have applied at a different time. My life has come to a standstill and there is no clear vision of when I will receive a response. This is while applicants of other nationalities are in the process of deciding their cases, but Iranians who received their 189 invitation on November 7, 2024 are indecisive.

I am writing to follow up on my Subclass 491 visa application, which has been lodged since 28 month ago.I recieved a medical comment 8 month ago and underwent a workplace check about 7 months ago, but I have not received any updates regarding the progress of my application since then. The extended processing time has significantly affected my life and planning.
