The state has reinstated Dr. Pompy's medical license today. We have achieved the objective of protecting this professional standing until a court reaches a verdict. I will be monitoring the state's compliance with this reversal over the coming weeks.

We, the people, believe that the State of Michigan has unfairly suspended Dr. Lesly Pompy's medical license to allow him to practice medicine in the state without charges filed nor any court has found him guilty. All doctors should NOT have their license suspended/revoked until the courts deemed them guilty. We believe that Dr. Lesly Pompy's medical licence should be reinstated until a court has established him to be guilty in the eyes of the law.

I am currently coordinating with legal counsel to draft a formal letter of inquiry regarding the suspension process. We are prioritizing the request for a clear timeline on when a formal hearing will occur.

Dr. Pompy I have known for nearly 30 years. First as an associate, then as my doctor. He was the only one that managed my pain to a degree that was acceptable for my line of work. He is an honest and very caring person and doctor. YOu are doing him an injustice.
I have RSD/CRPS full body, there are a lot of us who unless you have this terrible disease you can't imagine the pain we suffer through everyday, even on good days. Don't punish those who are truly our only help to not be in immense pain everyday, who's doing their job.
I am not a patient but I've to watch how he's runs his office when I've brought clients ive done this for over 5 years Dr pomp is very proffesional screened patients by the book. If they had to much or to little of the med prescribed he would refuse to treat them with medications
This is so sad and wrong. Like owning a house and a bank reposes it from you saying.........you have not missed any payments yet, but we're taking your house because we don't know if you'll miss any in the future. Makes no sense to me.....and most unbiased people also.
I fully support Dr Pompy and know both personally (from how he helped my mother) and professionally that he followed the guidelines above and beyond what is necessary for treating patients with chronic pain.
Dr. Pompy has truly set the bar high with his caring, loving nature. He has helped so many of us and gave us hope when no one else would. He is loved and supported by so many.
I have to admit that when Dr. Pompy would come into my room and say, "Tina, good to see you!" and shake my hand, I thought I was one of a few he would say that to! I always felt so special when he would smile and ask me how life was going and what he could do for me. I've come to understand and appreciate that he told every patient, "Good to see you!" because every person is special to him. Every one of us is important to him; Dr. Pompy cares about each of us as human beings and is willing to go the extra mile for all of us. During my last appointment with Dr. Pompy, he was with me for about half an hour. I apologized to him for taking so much of his time, and he told me that sometimes I don't need much of his time and sometimes I do, but no matter what, he's going to help me and spend as much time as I need because that's what he's there for - for me (and all his patients). I respect Dr. Pompy in so many ways - his intelligence, integrity, compassion, and abilities. His life revolves around making his patients' lives livable. He's dedicated to helping as many people as he can. The only things Dr. Pompy is "guilty" of are caring too much, of putting value on every life, of putting every patient ahead of himself.

Dr. Pompy is a great doctor who is being unfairly targeted. He is NOT responsible for the Heroin epidemic. If anything, he has helped countless people stay off if Heroin with medicines such as suboxone and/or subutex.
