Speak out to the Napa DA in support of just punishment for felons who steal grapes

This theft hurts more than the vineyards, it hurts the consumer who purchases wines. If you reduce the sentence of this convict than you are saying you don't care about the cost to the consumer. Then we will be looking at your future career!

For someone to steal 800K worth of material, admit to his guilt and expect to get a felony reduced to a misdemeanor is shocking... even more shocking is a justice system that would allow this. He should be sentenced for the felony and barred from employment in the industry for a few years...

This action was a major theft under the law and the appropriate punishment should be for a Felony and not a Misdemeanor. A man needs to be held accountable for his actions.

I encourage the judge to enforce a strict penalty. An example needs to be made and people need to know there is a big enough penalty if they get caught to deter the behavior.

A 13 year old stealing a $10 lipstick at Target, that's a misdemeanor. What this greedy scumbag has done is FAR from a misdeanor. This is grand theft and deserves the highest penalty! Please give him an $800,000 lesson for his crime!

Given the Plea agreement, Mr. Hill should serve time for his felony conviction.

I also support the Del Dotto's in this situation. If the crime committed is a felony; then the charge should be a felony.

I support holding people accountable for their actions, therefore, since the theft was in an amount that resulted in a felony, I opposed any reduction in severity.
