I agree with Del Dotto winery, as a resident of Napa I feel that people should not take grapes/wine from a winery.

I feel for a theft charge, you must be punished.....too many criminals are getting off with wrist slaps...please Judge, do the right thing....make a theft a serious crime as it is! Remember when we did not lock our doors, right is right and wrong has consequences!

The stealing of grapes is not accetable. The value of what had been taken and the loss for the Vineyard in any other case would be "grand theft" and a felony.

Grand theft, plain and simple. Let the punishment fit the crime!

I support Del Dotto family in their demand for justice. Mr. Hill did not steal to feed his family. He was creating business-for-profit by stealing from an ex-employer and competitor. Court should take these facts into account for setting appropriate reference to any potential alike cases in the local wine industry.

This is outrageous! This is a felony. It should be treated as such.

Thank you for taking a strong stand. I just returned from the Willamette Valley Wine Country where I heard of something (smaller volume) similar. It must be stopped.

The plea should not have been offered. He should be charge with felony theft and receive the maximum sentence.
