Unbelievably stupid response by administration. Blame the victim as long as it's a nurse.

This is a despicable lapse on the part of Montefiore administration. Ms. Baez should sue for wrongful termination.

Ensure the safety of the nurses. Any compromise on my wife’s safety is a significant concern for me.

I stand with Joselyn and the ED staff at Montifiore. Attack against one nurse is an attack against all.

This is a problem that has been festering for a long time according to patients. The Administration needs to act decisively before this pressure cooker explodes. Safety of Medical staff must be a priority.

Management will always throw Nurses under the busses. If it was an MD, this would never had happened

Montefiore medical center please you need to support your nurses in cases of incident not fired them. We all come to work to take excellent care of our patients and not to get injured or killed in the process thank you.

I was also treated very poorly as a staff. Member with chest pain and weakness on the right side was not never seen by a doctor or a nurse the. E!D department is treacherous

For a nurse to be assaulted by a patient and on top of that being fired because they called the police does not say much about Montefiore hospital and their policy practices. I have been to this hospital numerous times and I must say that it is a very poor manage hospital. The number of patients to nurse ratio is unacceptable and no one should work under these conditions. It is unsafe for the patient and the nurse. Montefiore needs to realize they have a huge problem and must make every effort to rectify it before something very bad happens to Doctor/Nurse or a patient. It is imperative that they pay attention to what it’s happening.
