In the fall of 2017, Fresh Oil Ministries plans to launch The Joyce L. Bennett Academy of Excellence. This school will serve as a strong educational option for students in the city of Gary and their families. High expectations, a rigorous curriculum and individualized educational opportunities will superbly prepare scholars for college and career. I have been spending my nights buried in paperwork for the state board but honestly all the support keeps me from just throwing my pens across the room. It is wild how many people keep reaching out to ask about the curriculum because it really proves that Gary families are hungry for new ways to learn.

Joyce was a beautiful soul. Seeing her legacy continue through helping kids learn is just wonderful. God bless this school.
Joyce was my heart, my school study partner, my advisor filled with Godly counsel--so "Of COURSE" I am in FULL AGREEMENT with the decision to Launch an Academy of Excellence. I find it an honor to support. My Joyce (My heart).
I support this charter school system . I hope it will help our black youth of today . Building the mind with education will take you to extraordinary places.
I worked with Joyce for many years wonderful woman and exhibited many Christian and moral values
I support this movement , This would help Gary people in so many ways. An awesome movement.
Another cash cow to pimp the black kids of Gary. ..and the parents allow it...why arent they going to Valparaiso or Munster??? People just don't get ..crab mentality ..conquer and divide and we too stupid to see it!!
I believe all kids should be educated about god

Gary needs this real bad. Our kids deserve better options and teachers who actually care about their future.
