Come on Duke! you can do much better than this. What is proposed is an incredibly insensitive and mis-guided idea, and has no place as part of the cityscape on one of Asheville's major corridors.

Duke Energy, please do not locate the power substation on property bordering a school, daycare facility, or other property where children's health may be adversely impacted by EMF (electromagnetic fields).

I am deeply concerned about the impact this substation will have on the health of our children and the negative impact it could have on ACS in general should enrollment drop. Please work with the city and your customers within the city to find an alternative location for the substation.
