We, the undersigned, parents of IW Students are seeking a safe learning environment for our children at Incarnate Word School so we can continue with the current in person learning environment. We urgently request Father Schroeder and Mrs. LaMarche to improve the current COVID Policy dated January 7, 2022 by utilizing the current CDC Guidelines for COVID in K-12 Schools.

We respectfully request the following:

• Universal Masking for Faculty, Staff and Students until the positivity rate falls below 3% in our School Community
• Positivity Rate will be based on school absences. Parents providing a negative covid test or doctor's note stating the illness is not due to COVID, will not be counted as a COVID positive case. The positivity rate will be calculated weekly utilizing the average of the number of positive cases in a two week period of time.
