The court system needs to rethink their ways. Treat the people who serve our country fairly. Its hard enough for a mother to leave her child for 6 months to be deployed to come back and find out that deployment has cost her to lose most of her custody of her child. Why would this encourage people to sign up to serve!?

Just because a mother is in the military doesn't mean she doesn't want her child!! What kind of SYSTEM do we have if PARENTS serve for us can't get their child BACK!! THIS IS A PITIFUL ACT OF THE GOVERNMENT! !!

I find it utterly disgusting and disgraceful that any court would even consider removing a child from their mother because she is serving her country and had to be deployed. A court is supposed to be all about a person' s rights. She is one who is fighting for EVERYONE'S rights, honorably! I sincerely hope and pray that this is immediately denied, with predjidice, while she is in service of her country. Shame on everyone participating in creating this horrible nightmare for this brave, honorable mother!

just because she is active duty does not mean she doesn't deserve and shouldn't have equal time with her child....how unfair of,the court system...that's how we repay someone for protecting our country....you should be ashamed of yourselves, and you say you are putting the child first...I think NOT....

As a soldier that served side-by-side with my husband I cannot understand why a court would do this to a mother the hardest thing in the world is to leave your children and serve your country but you do it because that's what you signed up to do. There's no reason not to have equal parenting in this matter unless one of them has done something wrong

I find it real sad that the Court would choose to take away time from his mother the custody needs to be 50/50 have a heart judges she is serving the USA as is the father be fair and put yourself in her shoes. Please give her 50/50 she has the right to be a 50/50 mom as well as his dad..

This is a disgrace. The custody should be 50/50 which no support either way. It's the best for the baby.

All parents should have equal rights it takes two to make a child both sharing just as much work as the other so the rights to the child should b split down the middle I come from divorced parents and they always made things work for my sister and I both this is 100% wrong what the courts are doing is unjust I wouldn't b the man I am today if it wasn't for my mother and father BOTH!!!
