Come on! Can we for once show congruency between what Americans SAY they about supporting US active duty military/ Veterans and how we treat them. Horrible.

Um total crap. If they are dual military split custody 50/50, and during deployments the parent not deployed has full custody, resume 50/50 upon the end of deployment. Done, easy peasy, and fair to the child.

She has the right to be with her son. I'm going to fight just to have my kids! Is this really America?!

This is a poor judgement and needs reconsideration! This child deserves both parents, and out military mothers deserve fair treatment!

Kids need their Mom. Period. When the mom is a warrior protecting our country to try to take away her rights is disgusting

This is ridiculous! What judge, in his right mind, would take away a mother's rights, while she is off protecting his freedom. Idiots!

She's a great mother to her son and would clearly do anything to keep him around. She shouldn't have to deal with her son living with his father more then him living with her. It's unfair.

The selfless decision to serve our country is rewarded with this absurd custody and child support arrangement. If this becomes the norm, what will it take to motivate people to join the military? Will people be forced to choose between starting/maintaining a family and service to their country? Come on, America! We can do better!
