New Hope for Youth has been instrumental in supporting our most vulnerable youth. It is critical for the continued growth and well-being of San Jose to have support programs like this available to our community. In a time where there is so much uncertainty in the world, programs like this are more important than ever and provide young people with the stability, guidance, and support they need to succeed.

I was helped a lot by the program and was helped right when I needed help I agree that the program does help young people in many ways of their lives. It would be disappointing if they don’t help keep the program.

My comments as a teacher is that New Hope for Youth is a lifeline for young people in San Jose. Out of all the organizations in our city New Hope is the one that students mention the most. Students share their positive experiences as participants and have nothing but positive feedback about the programs they offer. And as a community member, I want to share how important programs like New Hope are for young people especially when students come from underserved areas, the mentorship and opportunities they provide can keep a young person on a positive path.
