New hope has helped me and others I know out, They always help us with food, clothing etc these people are their for u when u feel like u have nobody these are genuinely the only people who understand others and know how to communicate with them with out New hope, TCPP, San Jose school safety the youth of now would be much more troubled.

I remember alex she had pulled up to my house during freshman year and had dropped off food for me and my family, she is apart of the new hope community and also Mario had brought us pizza during my freshman year of hs. They really meant a lot to me and they should continue meaning a lot to other people

New Hope helped me a lot in my teenage years, it was a great support system i wish i still had as an adult. I was fortunate to have Daniel Martinez as my mentor. I was in and out of juvenile hall as a kid and he was always there, supporting me through hard times. Wish he was able to see me now with a high school diploma and a full time job. Long Live Daniel!

This program is very good for the youth it keeps them motivated n mentoring to help their self esteem. It helps keep the children occupied and motivated so they will continue to be on the right path in life mentoring in our community is essential because children are very vulnerable and easily influence at this age of mid grade school and high school so I think it’s essential to continue with your program within our county of Santa Clara. I know if I had some kind of program like this being a child my life may have been less of a challenge for me.

I am in strong support of New Hope For Youth and the incredible impact they continue to make in our community. It is heartbreaking to hear that this program is at risk because of contract cuts, especially knowing how many young lives and families depend on the support they provide every day.
New Hope For Youth has become a safe place for at-risk youth and young adults who are struggling with gang involvement, violence, incarceration, unstable homes, and difficult life situations. They truly go above and beyond to mentor, guide, and support these youth with love, patience, and understanding. Their mentorship feels like a big brother and sister program that gives young people hope, direction, and positive role models.
This organization does not only help youth — they help entire families and the community as a whole. During a very difficult time for my family, they generously helped donate toward funeral expenses and showed compassion when we needed it most. Their kindness and support meant more than words can express.
Programs like New Hope For Youth are needed now more than ever. They help keep youth off the streets, away from violence and negative influences, and encourage them to build healthy and productive futures. They provide mentorship, outreach, emotional support, educational guidance, and a safe environment where young people feel cared for and valued.
Losing this organization would deeply affect our community and the many youth whose lives are being changed through this program. I strongly encourage continued support and funding for New Hope For Youth so they can continue serving our youth, families, and community for years to come.

My names Ruben Rosales, i attended Mt. Pleasant high school and worked mainly worked with Paul, Jose and Mario. The guidance that they brought throughout my troubling days helped me become a better man not only for me but for my family. I was constantly getting into trouble and doing bad for myself and i ended up in juvie. When i was put on probation, Jose was assigned as my case manager with the help of other new hope workers as well. These individuals helped me realize what else there is to life other than being in the streets and throwing my life away, and they gave me the guidance and advice i always needed growing up. They spoke from their hearts and not just from their heads. They knew, and still know how to connect with each student on another level. Even when some days i didn’t accept their advice or help, they never gave up. They understood i was going through a lot and yet they pushed even harder to give me the guidance i needed. New Hope For Youth is very much appreciated throughout my family for their support, efforts, encouragement, guidance and advice. Because of New Hope I turned my whole life around. They helped me get my job. I got put on independent studies so that i can catch up on the classes that i failed to complete while i was too busy making the wrong decisions. And next year i’ll be attending Mt. Pleasant again for my senior year. I’ll be back as a better student, A better man and most of all,
A CHANGED MAN. There’s so many kids that connect with New Hope For Youth and without it, i feel it’ll be a problem for the students that needed the guidance that i had from them

We have NHFY on our campus and they truly make a difference. They support SO many students, they know our students, they care about our students! Joseph has even supported our sports programs! These individuals are doing amazing work and WE NEED THEM! Our school and community NEEDS THEM! Our kids NEED THEM!
