I am absolutely against an airport expansion. We don't need to ruin our rural atmosphere to serve the urban wealthy. The airport is busy enough as it is.

We do not need more or bigger planes in our valley. As a local business owner we have not seen any business from the airport. Let Park City go to Salt Lake where there is already airports.

Years ago I lived in Orange County, CA and saw what happened to the small airport there. It is now John Wayne International. It only took a few years to go from a crop duster field to a massive airport. Park City and others will have to find another airport. My home is under one of the landing path turns.

If Park City wants an airport let them build one. We don't need any more noise pollution. It would benefit very few at a huge cost. There are many more ways we can use tax dollars that would actually benefit the people that live in Wasatch county.

The noise from the jets landing and the jets flying over our property is concerning and a huge distraction to our otherwise peaceful neighborhood. I am opposed to expanding the airport.

As a county resident, I support this petition. This decision should be decided by the all the citizens of Heber Valley. Personally, I'm opposed to expanding the airport.
