The wrong issue is discussed here. The airport is Not a C2 out of compliance. It is a B2 now that is out of compliance by allowing C2 unsafe aircraft. Put out a bulletin to pilots that the larger aircraft are not safe and not allowed. The charter companies will begin to use compliant aircraft when coming to Heber.

I have this 'deja vu' feeling that Heber City is back promoting EXPANSION again. Will it never end until it's EXPANDED? (rhetorical question, I'm afraid.)

The noise from the jets overhead is disruptive and disturbing. Our valley is no longer peaceful. I am not seeing any benefit from these larger planes for residents.

Put the issue to a public vote not to be decided by politicians who cave to interested parties.

We do not need more air traffic and larger planes. No benefit to residents. Just more noise.

You can see this has nothing to do with "safety" and none of the current residents of the valley will likely benefit in any way.

Aviation, air travel and airport development are at the core of any community; therefore, decisions made regarding development, use, expansion and stakeholder engagement in the matters stated above must be made by the residents of the local community. By no means should any business entity, monopoly or otherwise be allowed to infringe upon this. Aviation is big business, but "by the people for the people" must always transcend this. Development, advancement and growth must be handled with rigor, responsibility and thoughtfulness in order to preserve natures majesty. However, they must be handled and confronted otherwise the outcome will be irresponsible development that's ultimately destructive to a community rather than constructive. Let's grow Heber in a thoughtful way.

It seems like every few years the issue returns. When can those who LIVE in the valley expect to have a voice?

The airport is only a symtom of a bigger problem. What’s driving uncontrolled growth are the ski areas, and now Olympic fever! If you are serious about the unwanted effects of growth then oppose the extention and expansion of federal land leases to the big out-of-state owned ski corporations. Park City’s growth is creeping down the mountain into our valley due to the ski resorts. PC at least gets room taxes, we get nothing! Salt Lake airport is expanding at the cost of $2 billion in taxpayer $ to support more and more ski resort growth. Don’t waste your energy on little Heber City airport. This is what they want!! Contact your representatives about federal UTAH land giveaways and SLC expansion!

An airport expansion would lower the value of our home which is nearby and negatively impact my families living conditions.

Please don't expand the airport, or move the highway. It would RUIN the whole reason why Heber Valley is so special. As someone that lives within 2 miles of the current airport it is a fun thing to watch the smaller airplanes fly. But even now we no longer see the balloons. Even now the air traffic is getting more frequent. Please don't exchange MONEY value for something that cannot be replaced.

Definitely not in favor of the current plan to expand the airport or move US 189 through the south fields

I am not convinced the airport expansion would benefit the existing residents of Heber Valley.
