Do NOT Expand Heber Airport

Please do not expand the airport. We noticed in Midway some more flights over our homes in Lime Canyon. I moved to Midway for the quietness. In the summer, on a Monday I can go out in my yard and hear nothing. It’s amazing. We do not need noise from airplanes. Also we use Deer Creek Res. We Paddleboard. It would be awful to have air traffic. Instead get a system for transportation between Midway/ Heber to Park City and to SLC. There should especially be shuttles to hospitals in PC and SLC

We don’t need a bigger airport. There are plenty of airports within less than an hour drive. A bigger airport will not benefit most Wasatch County residents but would decrease the quality of life.

Keep Heber Valley rural. The impending DV expansion at Mayflower is surely to bring expansion into Heber Valley which will include air traffic.

There is no current benefit to the average resident in the Heber Valkey, majority of airplanes that use the facility are chartered flights and have costs to just use this site I would rather see the airport used for only for non-chartered flights not some place where the Rich can fly into because they feel a commute from SLC is way too much time and hassle. Well who are you to make where we live cater to your needs. Us as residents and home owners should have a say in what we want from our airport. End of day it’s our tax dollars that would fund for an expansion or anything!

I understand that we are a natural choice for those wanting to fly in to Park City area without using a bigger airport. However, this provides no real benefit to the actual residents of Heber Valley. It will have a negative impact on our rural atmosphere that we all know & love. The rural feel of this valley is the reason many of us love this valley & the people of it. I am all for a change that would bring benefit to our people, this is simply not. We have Salt Lake City & Provo airports near by.

This is a small valley. The noise created by large aircraft would be a burden to all Heber Valley residents. Please do not expand the airport here. Salt Lake international airport is only 30 minutes from Park City wich will be the destination serviced by the Heber City airport. .

Do not expand the airport! Instead by a Gondola to Park City Resort. It will raise the prices of our houses in Heber City and Midway, instead of providing bad air and an increment of convenience for the folks in Park City. Go Gondola!

I don’t think we need more and bigger jets at the airport. The airport is popular with recreational flyers but I hear that it’s already too busy for the soarers who are heading to the Nephi airport where it is less crowded.

We do not want an expanded airport. This was voted down and now it’s being added into the bypass project in a secretive manner. Stop this. We voted against this! The residents of our valley have made their statement by their votes.

Just like the movie “Cars” if you put in a bypass the Main Street businesses will die:( The Airport does not need to be larger, there is enough noise as it is from aircraft, especially helicopters.

Bob Hope Airport, Burbank, CA, has held back expansion for decades, due to people not wanting it.

No expansion. No bypass in the north and south fields!
