We, the undersigned students, alumni, professors and community leaders, express our support and interest in the establishment of the *Harriet Tubman Effect Institute of Participatory Action Research, Culture, and Efficacy* at NYU Steinhardt. We believe in our collective ability to bring this venture to fruition. We commit to supporting the growth of the institute in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, staffing, participation, recruitment, volunteerism, research contribution, fundraising, and strategic development. We will prioritize efficacy in social justice education initiatives, community impact, and practical application of the theories we study at NYU Steinhardt. Our hope is to establish an ongoing space for NYU students and the surrounding community beginning June 1, 2021.
