I love all of the support for such an important cause. I don't think anyone can say what someone likes or is good at based only on their gender. I know for a fact that this 6th grade class has a ton of talented athletes that are girls! Keep on supporting each other!

This is ridiculous. These girls deserve to be treated with as much respect as the boys.

I don't go to this school but i'm all about gender rights and this is literally so unfair so i will share this with my friends and hope that the school gets 100% gender rights!!

Separate but equal is wrong and doesn't have a place in this century. Good for our kids for speaking up for themselves.

This isn't what this is about. Us girls are being treated as if we have NO ability whatsoever to do most fitness activities. In fact, a lot of the boys can't even do push ups. Instead of encouraging girls to accept being treated this way, we are trying to encourage them to stand up for themselves. We need to show everyone that sexist comments are not okay.
