and for the push ups why don't you do it it's not like someone has to tell you to do push ups you could do it out of free will but i'm just saying some girls cant do 15 push ups( no offence at all ) and some of this. and when Mr. R said girls are fat and boys are strong when older i think he was saying that as a fact with no harm to it and i'm pretty sure he is a gym teacher so he kinda has to know about fitness and health so that was valid

I agree but disagree at the same time. Some points are invalid in my opinion... But you have my vote! Lets change gym! Girls and Boys are completely equal. But we girls have to make sure we don't start being hateful towards boys...

I had no idea that inequality in physical education is still happening?! What kind of message are we sending to these kids? I really hope that things change for the better! Good luck!

You are all so mature for your age, so proud of you guys! Girls are no less than boys and no school should continue enforcing policies that make that seem to be the truth. Keep fighting for what's right and never let anyone tell you that you can't do something

Inequity in boys and girls athletics starts in District 70 and continues right on through LHS. I'm really sick of the examples I see regularly. It's not good for the boys or the girls. Libertyville should be a leader in promoting gender equality, and school administrators should be spearheading that effort.

I am so happy that we are doing this because this is not fair I know a lot of girls that are super good a floor hockey and I am sad that people think that we should be treated differently and the floor hockey think I didn't even know about that but that was so unfair thanks

Everyone try to recruit more people to sign this petition. There were some people doing it this morning, but I think that we could do some more. I mean, when I signed this at four, there were about 17 signatures, and now there are 35! Keep it up Hornets!
