we have limited undeveloped space left in Eugene (especially what lies in the UGB) . As a resident of Eugene I have seen a need for affordable housing (Which this is not) as well as ecologically functioning green space (which this development would not be). We need to take every development seriously for it will impact the future of our community and planet

We should be very intentional with how we develop our green spaces. Our development needs to be context specific and the current plan does not listen to what the local community would like out of this space.

It always seems that our childhood special places always gets paved; as adults maybe we can save this one spot so our kids, plants, and critters finally get to know one another.

Please find ways to collaborate and use this space for any number of more life affirming, and essentially cost saving, ways - such as low density, lower income housing and a space that would also serve to sequester oxygen at a time when cities are looking to find ways to maximize their ecological strength, not weaken it.

We do not need more ugly apartment complexes. We need more community-governed land. Open green space in the city is disappearing. These spaces are invaluable. Resist urban sprawl. Keep Eugene green!
