We want to get Wawa's attention and convince them to open stores in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and even Gatlinburg too.

Wawa is your all day, every day stop for fresh, built-to-order foods, beverages, coffee, fuel services, and surcharge-free ATMs. A chain of more than 645 convenience retail stores (over 365 offering gasoline), Wawa stores are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Central Florida. The stores offer a large fresh food service selection, including Wawa brands such as built-to-order hoagies, freshly brewed coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches, built-to-order specialty beverages, and an assortment of soups, sides and snacks.

Why do we want it?

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't quite understand the craze associated with what seemed to be just another convenience store. My Jersey born and raised fiance has tried to convince me otherwise and I have to say that I'm on board with this train.

People I know that love Wawa all seem to have the same feverish devotion to this company and after going to one during a trip to Florida I can see why.

This place is a step above the rest. Their values are good, they seem to treat their employees well (as attested by the previously mentioned fiance who had family that worked for them), their in house products are exceptional (especially the coffee), and they take care to stock just about every thing you need and will make you a meal on top of that.

Wawa would be an exceptional addition to the area. It would bring more jobs in and provide excellent service not only to the local residents, but to all of the many tourists that visit the area.

Help us convince Wawa that the Great Smoky Mountains are a place they want to be, a place they can grow.
