No one deserves to be forced into anything by a bullying home owner's aasociation. Star owns the home, not the HOA. She paid her hard earned money into the place, not the HOA. Our circumstances change all the time, so the HOA should have to evolve w/ their home owners. The HOA is supposed to be there to help, not try to ruin someone's future.

I believe the HOA has a responsibility to clearly communicate what covenants a homeowner is breaking. If they aren't able to do so then The homeowner is not at fault and should not be forced to choose.

Victoria should be granted a hardship. It's consistent with the HOA policy.

The HOA is supposed to accept a certain number of renters. Maybe you could get all the people that actually pay the HOA fee to make an change to the bylaws and accept a little more! Good luck! HOAs kinda suck and it only took me one home with one to realize never again would I live where there power hungry people telling me what I can and cannot do with my home!!

Please allow this young lady to rent her condo to others so that she can get an education and have a home to return to when she completed her education!

NO ONE should have to choose between their home and education. If the hardship permit specifically states if one is granted acceptance into a university or college outside of the state one qualifies for approval of a hardship to rent their condominium..... then she should be able to do so. Point blank. End of story.

I don't think she should have to make a choice, because that just isn't being fare to her and nobody else should have to make a choice like that.

Simple: Either give her a hardship exemption or a valid explanation in writing as to why you can't do so. Will you be part of the problems of the world or part of the solutions? Star has been and continues to be part of the solutions. Join her. Do the right thing now.

Star ads so much to this community. You guys need to honor what you said. She is making a way to better herself to tell her no for no reason is just unfair. I am sorry this is just wrong. Star prayers up for you sis and I pray they do what they say.
