There are several pieces of equipment that many members of GUWC would like to have access to in order to further enhance their training and be able to pursue certain strength goals.
GUWC would like permission to purchase and use certain pieces of S&C/strongman/powerlifting equipment that will be left in PowerPlay and available for all gym members' use
Some equipment that has been suggested so far (just suggestions):
Plate loaded farmer walk
Yoke
Log press bar
Loading pin
Sandbag(s)
Trap bar
Ez curl bar/cable attachment
safety squat bar
Barbell chains

I really thought this might just fizzle out in a corner of the group chat but seeing all this energy behind the equipment list is honestly wild. Maybe we actually get that yoke in the gym after all if people keep backing this idea because honestly my grip strength has been struggling lately without a proper trap bar.

been asking for better equipment for ages. this would make the gym so much better for all of us

The gym really needs a proper yoke and some sandbags. tired of trying to improvise.
Safety squat bar would be a massive upgrade for my training. hope they approve this
A trap bar is long over due! would be great for everyone there

PLEASE GET THE LOG PRESS. standard bars just dont cut it for strongman training.
