This game mad first person shooters worth it for me. Sure I had my grievances with some aspects of it that reminded me of CS, but all in all, it was a pleasant experience. It was a new take on an old concept, and used the source material well. This was the one game that I was most looking forward to playing when I got out of basic training, and I only recently got enough time off to enjoy this game. I don't see why such a good game that is a well needed addition to the GITS franchise needs to be halted. It sustained and added to the lore in such a way that built the world up even more and in a beautiful way. It might be a niche market right now, but with enough time, a loyal fan base will form and help spread this game to the competitive community. Without this game, the only first person shooters I'll still be able to enjoy are payday 2 and Planetside 2. It's one of my favorite games, and a welcome addition to my steam library.
