Sometimes people come into our lives to help us grow. We might not always like what we hear, but if it makes us think… then that’s a good thing. I’ve followed Brian for a long time and I believe in the words of John Lewis, that Brian is…“getting in trouble. Good trouble. Necessary trouble”. Be the change.

UCWDC also need to pay my husband the remainder of what he is owed for being the director of worlds 2020. Such an awful thing to do - shirting his commissions!!!!

While some of Brian's actions may not have been palatable to everyone I do believe he has valid points. I do know there have been issues that Associate members have tried to bring to light but because they are not Event Owners they get quietly swept under the rug and he was trying to show the weakness in the structure before it all comes crashing down.

As a very low level competitor/member, I wish I had more background information on all of this. However, from what I have seen of Brian's videos, I don't think this action is justified.

Brian was accused of cyber-bullying. What I saw was not cyber-bullying at all. Real cyber-bullying is a serious thing that should not be reduced to a genuine guy with a good heart speaking the truth as he sees it. The reaction seems pretty extreme to me, and the actions taken against Brian should be reversed.

I took lessons from Brian and did a few competitions in the UCWDC with him back in 2010. He wants nothing more than to support and grow the dance community.

any healthy organization should be open to new ideas and improvement. It seems to be true that the number of events and competitors has been decreasing over time. I dont know Brian personally but i did watch his videos and the impression i got was that he wanted to improve the org and grow dance. i also want to see the sport and the ucwdc grow . i hope that he can be included and not excluded from the org and his ideas be looked at and considered. the ban just seems like an overreaction and punitive.

I' vs been involved with users for 30 years,as a competitor and a social dancer. Change is a good thing, and no-one should be punished for offering opinions on improving the organization
