Demand Federal Government Involvement in the Fight Against Lyme Disease and Co-Infections

Chronic Lyme disease has stolen my early adulthood, been an incredible financial burden, and left me currently disabled at the age of 25. Please help us. We desperately want to recover. There’s so much more I want to do with my life than I’m physically able to.

Need help with Kate stage Lyme disease

Please help get to the bottom of this horrible bacteria. My daughter and I have suffered for 14 years with this and tried everything. We are functioning but suffering through brain fog and pain.

Please help us with this devastating disease. It is difficult to find qualified Lyme literate doctors and if you do find one, insurance will not cover the cost so we cannot afford treatment. I have been fighting with United Healthcare to get reimbursed for my care since 9/2022. It has been like working a full-time job while being disabled and chronically ill to get what is mine. They are committing fraud by stealing from me and discrimination as a disabled person due to Lyme disease and not providing me necessary treatments. They have denied me necessary supplements, IVs, etc. that led to further health complications. It is disgraceful what they have gotten away with as I am sure there are numerous Lyme disease patients that have the same issues with their insurance companies. My husband has been disabled by Lyme Disease and several coinfections. He was bit by a tick in ‘08 and has been declining since. We have gone into debt attempting to pay for care privately. No traditional western medically trained MD is adequately equipped to treat him. It has completely taken both our lives.

My doctor around 8or so years ago when I was having lots of health problems I asked him if I could have Lyme disease and he snickered and said no it’s not around here. Then I switched to Cleveland clinic and in the last few years I’ve been tested at least twice and was negative l was really worried l have been in hospital alot then I found a supportive group on Facebook and I found a Lyme doctor and had testing and found out I have babesia and other issues and been taking medication for around two months and doctor said it will take a long time for recovery. It’s so exhausting and expensive. Please help us all

Please help us with this insidious disease as we need insurance coverage and the allopathic community knows little or nothing about Lyme disease. Many of us were misdiagnosed initially and have spent thousands of dollars to pay for holistic treatments.
