Demand Federal Government Involvement in the Fight Against Lyme Disease and Co-Infections

Little faith that w/ trump & Musk @ the helm, anything will change. Hoping for this one good thing to come out of this chaos

My daughter has been suffering with chronic Lyme for a decade; from the age of 18 to now 26. Had to medically withdraw from college (but finished online) and leave two good jobs due to severe health conditions caused by the Lyme infections. Was denied disability and no insurance will cover her problems. We help her with medical bills while she fights every day to work and get healthy! This disease needs recognition and support, please.

I suffer from Lyme disease. There needs to be funding for research and development for better testing and treatment. Gaslighting by doctors needs to stop. Doctors need to be educated on what Lyme is and help their patients.

I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in September of 2022. I suffered for many years and after several doctors, before one doctor figured it out. I went through 4 weeks on Doxycycline and made improvements for 9 months. Then the "episodes" returned with flu-like symptoms, aches, nausea, high fever, chills, extreme weakness, and headaches. They last for 3-4 days then they are gone till the next time. I can't stand but a few seconds at a time. I have really bad word recall and memory issues. I cannot afford a Holistic doctor and am unable to work. I signed up for disability, but not enough work time for SSDI and my husband makes too much on his SSDI for me to get SSI. I don't know if this has any importance, but my husband and I also have a son age 32 with severe to profound Autism. I have read a little about Lyme possibly being passed in utero to fetus from mother and causing Autism.

Late stage Lyme disease is terrible! We need help!!

Lyme disease needs attention and coverage. Herbal treatments should also be covered.

I have been struggling with chronic Lyme disease for 6 years. I have received very little help from our medical community. I go to a specialty clinic that does integrative medicine and is all out of pocket. I don't feel there is enough research going on for this condition and it seems there are more and more people struggling with it.

Please help our community get the support we need to heal!
