Sports is an essential activity that will benefit students in ters of fitness, wellbeing and life experiences. Sport is benefitial to the working world as gaining a degree. Employers do rate playing sports as a sense of team work, sense of responsibility, preservence and determination. If Aberystwyth University wants good publicity, in the Sport aspect, them they should act now!

Sports at University is a major part of the social side of university life. By having lectures on Wednesday it discourages participation in sport, which contributes to a healthy lifestyle, which would see a lack of university commeradery. FREE UP WEDNESDAYS!

wednesday afternoons provide an invaluble enrichment of the university experience and allows students to not only connect with their student community, but also offers opportunities develop their employable skills and future prospects.

As both a diligent student and an avid player of sport, in the past I have been forced to choose between these two commitments. No student should ever have to make that choice; both working hard and playing hard, for the university you are a part of, go hand in hand. It is up to the individual how much time to dedicate to studying, however when academic timetabling dictates the time spent (not) playing sport, it makes me feel very resentful that I cannot honour the commitment I made to my team. It is a privilege to play for a university sports team- please do not deny us that opportunity any longer.

it would be nice to have a little me time one day a week were i can light some candles put a bit of cold play on and have a radox bath
