I live and work in Florida and I have seen money spent here from films. The Sound of Music was filmed fifty years ago this year and today they are still having bus loads of tourist visiting the site. Do you support job growth and tourism you need to support this bill.

All I can say is the tax incentive for filmmakers in Ohio created a lot of jobs and created a lot of revenue for the state. I worked a lot in Ohio before I moved here to Florida here I am NOT working.

It's very important to support the arts, even when that means supporting them in a way to bring the development of the arts to Florida. Not only supporting the creation of film, TV and digital media but mainly all the jobs the industry creates. Plus all the money that is spent in-state, as well as taxes earned for productions done within our state. For years we lost productions to other states (mainly Louisiana, Georgia and the Carolina's) when we didn't support our own Entertainment Industry. Let alone all the revenue that now found its way to those other states. Support the Industry...Support our State!

As a native Floridian, an actor and a business owner who employs professional actors for a successful event and entertainment business. I highly urge you to pass our incentives bill. I need to be able to retain good actors and continue expanding my business. We've got to do this.

On behalf of the body of working professionals in the film industry who remain in this state, please help to keep film projects coming to Florida. Please consider the broad spectrum of income this industry creates and nourishes as we work and spend here in our communities, and how it impacts not only us, but also all our vendors in wealth creation each time we commence a production here. Let us not lose any more business to the other states to which our otherwise film projects are going. Thank you.
