As a film maker and someone prepping a feature film that is set in Florida, we need to get our incentives back. With all of the resources we have....aside from L.A. or New York....WE (FLORIDA) need to be on the forefront.

We need to keep the incentive program going in order to compete with other States on the same level. So many jobs could be lost, plus all the revenue for local business.

The benefits of increased revenue for the local communities thanks to tax incentives to draw film crews to Florida outway the potential loss of tax revenue for the state if they force production companies to pay all taxes. The bottom line is many production companies will head for the states or countries (like Canada) who give tax incentives to production companies. Florida is losing a lot of potential film work (with the local spending) since they no longer offer the tax incentives that other states do.

We write scripts for films to be shot in Florida but every producer who buys our scripts schedules production for other states WITH film incentives. Help us get our films shot at home!!

We must get incentives for films production in this state. Or else we will FLY to Atlanta or other states where we can get 35% incentives.

Too many jobs have been lost in our industry - one which brings in millions and millions in revenue. Florida used to be a hub for the film, television and music industry and through government cuts, we have watched it whittle away. Save our jobs!!!
