This is important for the industry and all the vendors that supply it. As well as the tourism industry. Without production there will not be a digital foot print for the world to see. Think about what Miami Vice did for the development of Miami in the 80's. It would be a real missed opportunity to not have production here in Florida.

The film industry began in Florida.
It was re-born when Disney and Universal came out of the ground.
Other states began offering incentives; which Florida decided not to do. This industry and its special needs should not be overlooked.

Although I have took time off to be a stay at home mom I truly hope that the state can realize how much work and money south FL is loosing out on when film and commercials aren't actively given their due respect in FL industry. Prior to this time off I soley supported myself with my acting career. I would like to re-enter this wonderful feild, but it feels like state doesnt deem these jobs valuable.
Major studios and Indie films are waiting to film here bringing in billions in trickle down revenue. Please do your best.
