As a professor in Communication Arts that teaches production as well as theory and management, I support that Florida needs to maintain and surpass its competitive edge in the filmmaking industry. We have and are training the talent and we need for these graduates to stay in Florida and add to our economy. Filmmaking in Florida can lead the creative industries economy if given the needed support.
